തുര്‍ക്കിയില്‍ ഭരണസമ്പ്രദായം ഈയിട പരിഷ്കരിച്ചു പാര്‍ളിമെണ്ട് സഭ ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തപ്പെട്ടുവല്ലൊ. അവിടെനിന്ന് അന്ത:ഛിദ്രത്താല്‍ ഓടിഒളിച്ചുപോയവര്‍ തിരികെ ചെന്നുചേര്‍ന്നുവരുന്നു. പലേ സര്‍ക്കാരുദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്മാരെയും തടവിലിട്ടിരുന്നതില്‍ ഇവരെ ഇപ്പോള്‍ വിമോചിപ്പിച്ചുവരുന്നു സൈനികകാര്യമന്ത്രിയായിരുന്ന റീസാപാഷ ഉദ്യോഗകാലത്തു അക്രമമായി സമ്പാദിച്ച രണ്ടുലക്ഷം പവന്‍ തിരികെ ഖജനാവില്‍ കൊടുത്ത് മോചനം പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. മറ്റുദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്മാരും ഇതിന്മണ്ണം അന്യായാര്‍ജിതങ്ങളെ തിരിയെ കൊടുത്ത് മോചനം ലഭിക്കുന്നതിന് സംഗതിയുണ്ട്. പുതിയ ഗവര്‍ന്മേണ്ടിന്‍റെ സ്വരൂപത്തിന് യോജിക്കാത്തതായി ഇപ്പോഴുള്ള നിയമങ്ങളും ചട്ടങ്ങളും ഉടന്‍ മാറ്റുന്നതാണ് എന്നും, സൈന്യവകുപ്പും നാവികവകുപ്പും പരിഷ്കരിക്കപ്പെടുമെന്നും; സൈന്യത്തില്‍ ജീവനക്കാരായി മുസല്‍മാനല്ലാത്ത ജനങ്ങളെയും സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്നും അവിടത്തെ പത്രങ്ങള്‍ പറയുന്നു. ഇതിനിടെ ഇജിപ്തിലെ ഖേദീവ് ഇസ്തംബൂലില്‍ എത്തി, അവിടത്തെ മന്ത്രിസഭയുടെയും തുര്‍ക്കി പരിഷ്കാരകക്ഷിയുടെയും, സൈന്യത്തിന്‍റെയും, ഇജിപ്ഷന്മാരുടെയും അഭിവാദ്യങ്ങളെ സ്വീകരിക്കയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
അഗ്ന്യസ്ത്രപ്രയോഗത്തെ നിന്ദിച്ച് എത്ര തന്നെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടും അഗ്ന്യസ്ത്രങ്ങളെ തീരെ നിരാകരിക്കുന്നതില്‍ ചില ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മനസ്സു വരാത്തത് എന്തായിരിക്കും? രാജ്യത്തിനും രാജ്യനിവാസികള്‍ക്കും ഇത്രവളരെ നാശകരമായ ഈ പ്രയോഗത്തെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നതിനു പകരം, പ്രേമംകൊണ്ട്, ജനങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സിന്‍റെ സദ് വൃത്തികളെ പരിപോഷിപ്പിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില്‍, ഈ മാതിരി ദുഷ്കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍, താനേ തലതാഴ്ത്തും എന്ന് "വന്ദേമാതരം" പ്രതിപാദിക്കുന്നു. നിന്ദനംകൊണ്ട്, ദുഷ്ടമനസ്സുകള്‍ നന്നാകുന്നതിനു പകരം, അവയുടെ അധമഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ പുഷ്ടിയേ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു. എരിയുന്ന തീയില്‍ എണ്ണ പകരുന്നപോലെയാണ് ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോടു അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി നിന്ദ്യമെന്ന് ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നത്. ലോകത്തില്‍ പ്രേമംകൊണ്ട് സാധിക്കാവുന്നതിലധികം ഗുണം ദ്വേഷംകൊണ്ടു സാധിക്കയില്ലാ.
